TRIAD News:

Employees and eligible contractors who are fully vaccinated by Sept. 3, 2021, will have an opportunity to enter a drawing for a 2021 Ford F-150 pickup truck sponsored and funded privately by Los Alamos National Laboratory’s operator, Triad National Security. No taxpayer dollars were used to purchase the truck.

Triad purchased the truck for the contest as a thank you to employees who are helping protect their families and fellow workers by getting the COVID-19 vaccine – over 80% of employees are already vaccinated, and workers who are not may do so on-site. The drawing is open to all Laboratory employees and employees of Lab contractors Aramark, Centerra, COMPA, and Performance Maintenance who work on-site.

“The health and safety of our employees is our top priority,” said Deputy Director for Operations Kelly Beierschmitt. “Triad has taken some of its own money – not taxpayer dollars – to purchase a brand new 2021 Ford F-150 so one vaccinated employee can win a new pickup truck. It’s a way to thank employees for their hard work – and to encourage everyone to get the shot.”

To be eligible for the drawing, entrants must have received two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and have a record of their vaccination on file with the Laboratory’s Occupational Medicine office no later than Sept. 3, 2021. Employees who want to get the vaccine can do so on-site through the Occupational Medicine office.
