Toppers Beat La Cueva Bears Hockey Team

The La Cueva Bears traveled to Los Alamos this past Friday and Saturday to play two hockey games in the outdoor Los Alamos County Ice Rink. The first game was played Friday evening and was all the Toppers game, winning 5-1. The power was only working at half speed, which made for poor lighting, but that did not slow down the Toppers’ game. The second game was held Saturday morning at the LA Rink with the Toppers winning 9-1 and the third game was in Rio Rancho Sunday. No score available. Photo by John McHale/ladailypost.com
