The Taos Tigers came down the road for a district match up with the Los Alamos Hilltoppers.
All three sets were close, and the Toppers had to re-focus to capture the three-set victory.
The Topper front row had a combined 21 kills on the night, led by Callie Goda and 15 block / block assists led by Solenne Thelliez.
The defensive core in the back row led by Anna Kirkland, Gianna āGā Benelli and Shyanne Garcia had an impressive match in serve/receive and dig percentage averaging 67 percent. Junior setter Angelina Passalacqua had another outstanding match with 3 aces, 3 kills, 2 blocks and 18 assists.
Next up the Hilltoppers travel to Moriarty for their 3rd district match up against the Pintos.
