Topper Boys Basketball Seriously Challenge Chargers

The Topper Boys Basketball team traveled Tuesday night to Albuquerque to play the Academy Chargers. The Chargers are ranked the number one team in New Mexico and the Toppers had upset on their minds as the defense held the Chargers to 23 points in the first half and went to the locker room with the lead in the game 24-23. The offense played even with the Chargers until the closing minutes of the contest when the Chargers made several free throws to win the game 55-50. The Toppers continue to show improvement.
