ACRR News:
Sasha Tomalak was the top predictor in the Atomic City Road Runners (ACRR) weekly pace race Tuesday on the trails by the traffic circle between Barranca Mesa and North Mesa with a 1 second differential off his predicted time.
Other accurate predictors were:
- Sean Thomas at 23 seconds off;
- Paul Geimer and Iris Geimer, 1, recording a 24 second difference as well as the best finishers in the 1 mile paved course at 6:39;
- Valerio Pinchetti at 29 seconds off and the top finisher in the 3 mile trail distance recording a 23:29; and
- Katie Gattiker with a 32 second differential as well as the first female finisher on the 2 mile trail race at 30:36.
On the 1 mile paved course:
- Julie Collins was the best female finisher with a time of 16:03.
On the 2 mile trail race:
- Matt Fesko was the first finisher at 21:03.
In the 3 mile race:
- Madeline Harms was the top female finisher trail distance recording a 29:12.
Next week’s race will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 30 at the Power Line Trailhead, which is on N.M. 4 West approximately 3.1 miles from the junction of N.M. 4 and Pajarito Road in White Rock and turning right from Pajarito Road on to N.M. 4 and heading West on N.M. 4 towards Bandelier National Monument. 1, 2 and 3 mile trail runs will be available.
