Tickets Still Available For Los Alamos Historical Society Annual Fall Gala

HISTORICAL SOCIETY News:

Tickets are still available for the Los Alamos Historical Society’s Annual Fall Gala, a celebration of our community’s history and a fundraising event that supports the History Museum’s annual operating budget.

The black-tie optional gala is Saturday, Sept. 10, and includes a delicious three-course dinner catered by the Blue Window Bistro, the popular “Experience Auction,” and dancing to the sounds of the Los Alamos Big Band in historic Fuller Lodge.

The Experience Auction features a dozen exciting and historic experiences such as an overnight stay at the Abiquiu Inn and tour of the Georgia O’Keefe home, a private tour of the Indian arts collection at the School for Advanced Research in Santa Fe, a New Mexico Wine Tour, and a lodging and ski package for Purgatory Resort.

An exclusive pre-Gala champagne reception, along with the announcement of the 2016 Los Alamos History Award winner, will take place at the Hans Bethe House on Bathtub Row.

Tickets for the Sneak Preview Gala are $75, while the Gala plus Bethe House champagne reception is $125 per person. Tickets may be purchased in the Historical Society’s administrative offices (upstairs in the north wing of Fuller Lodge) or online at www.losalamoshistory.org. Seating is limited and tickets won’t be available for much longer!
