A small area of the Los Alamos High School campus was landscaped in a joint effort between the LAHS Key Club, Kiwanis Club of Los Alamos and LAPS Foundation on “Kiwanis One Day” Saturday, April 5.

“Kiwanis One Day” is a day set aside each year for the various Kiwanis-related clubs to do a joint community service project. The small area recently landscaped is just outside the classroom of AP Chemistry teacher Kathy Boerigter.

The LAPS Foundation donated a large green and gold picnic table to complete the project. The picnic table can be used for lunch, meetings or outdoor science demonstrations.
