The Family YMCA is hosting a virtual, online “Gala” for the next two weeks because its March Ball had to be canceled due to the
“We can’t convene in person, so we’re celebrating virtually,” Y CEO Chris Daniels said. “Funds raised will support our Española YMCA Teen Center, 300 financial assistance recipients, and our Y as we’ve dealt with severe business-shutdown losses.”
Daniels said that everyone is invited to bid on auction items, purchase a $20 ticket for a $1,000 raffle, and enjoy stories of impact.
“We’re calling it our ‘Be The Light’ Campaign, where you can participate from Oct. 17-31,” he said.
