The 26th Annual Los Alamos Photographers’ Show Runs Through May 26 In Step Up Gallery

The Los Alamos Photography Club is hosting its 26th Annual Show through May 26 in Step Up Gallery at Mesa Public Library.

The exhibit includes a wide variety of subjects, ranging from expansive landscape vistas to wild animals, exotic vegetation and flowers, international portraits, and airshow action photos.

The photographers exhibiting in the 26th Annual Show include: Eric Bjorklund, Beverly Cooper, Martin Cooper, Michael Devereux, Jenn Donley, Bert Harry, Patricia Hensley, Leigh House, Steven Howard, Kenneth J. Johnson, Andi Kron, Peter C. LaDelfe, Stephen Ledoux, Graham Mark, ge mills, Harvey Morgan II, David Moss, Jen Moss, Randal Pair, John Sarracino, Bob Walker, Laurie Walker and Laurie Waters.

Many of the photos in the show are available for purchase by directly contacting each photographer through their email addresses printed on each wall tag in the exhibit.

The public is invited to attend a Guided Tour 5:45-7:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 17 during which photographers will guide visitors through the exhibit and discuss techniques, equipment, and subjects, as well as answering visitors’ questions.

At the present time, masking and social distancing is optional in the gallery, however, those guidelines may change without notice.

The Los Alamos Photography Club holds meetings on the third Tuesday of each month that are normally at Fuller Lodge Art Center. During the pandemic, however, meetings have been held online, via Zoom. Meeting topics include discussions of photographic techniques, photo equipment, travel logs, software for photo processing, and other photography-related topics.

Step Up Gallery is on the top floor of Mesa Public Library, 2400 Central Ave. The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and closed Sundays. Admission is free.
