Ted Romero Is Top Predictor In Weekly Pace Race

Ted Romero was the best predictor in the weekly pace Tuesday on the Bridge Loop on the trails behind the Aquatic Center with a 7 second differential in his prediction.
 
Other accurate predictors were Ryan Smeltzer at 18 seconds off, Aaron Jackson with a 18 second difference as well as the best finisher in the 3 mile race at 24:03, Adam Stainer at 30 seconds off, and Chris Michel recording a 56 second differential.
 
On the 1 mile road course, William Strother, 9, was the top finisher with a time of 8:51 and his sister Savanna Strother, 11, was the first female at 9:02.
 
Evan Vincent, 14, was the first finisher on the 1 mile trail course with a 9:06 and his sister Ellie Vincent, 11, had a 9:08 for best female finisher.
 
On the 3 mile course, Lynn Bjorklund recorded a 28:03 for first female.
 
Next week’s race is on the Canyon Rim Trail starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the trailhead across from the Co-operative Market on East Road (State Route # 502). It will the last pace race of the 2018 season. 1, 1.5, 2 and 3 mile courses will be available.
