Taste The Sky At Los Alamos Airport Saturday

The community is invited to the United Way Youth Team’s annual Taste The Sky fundraising event 4-7 p.m., Saturday on the tarmac at the Los Alamos County Airport.

 

Go through the history of flight while munching on Indian tasting plates featuring samosas and tandoori chicken from Secret City Kitchen. Listen to a local jazz band, view a display of local airplanes, the Classic Air Medical helicopter and Civil Air Patrol hot air balloon.

United Way is a nonprofit organization that contributes to the Community Action Fund and helps to support local organizations that benefit Los Alamos and Rio Arriba counties.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students. Pay for tickets here.
