TAOS SCHOOL OF MUSIC News:

The Taos School of Music presents two stellar concerts July 16 and July 19 at the Taos Community Auditorium.

​At 7:30 p.m. July 16, the Shanghai Quartet will perform Mendelssohn String Quartet in F Minor, Op. 80; Bridge String Quartet No. 1 and Brahms String Quartet Op. 51, No. 1. Following this performance, Robert McDonald will perform a solo piano recital July 19. This show also is at 7:30 p.m. McDonald’s program will showcase Mozart Piano Sonata No. 15; Schumann Novelletten; Debussy Preludes Book 2 and Chopin Mazurkas& Polonaise-fantasie.

Tickets cost $25 or $10 for those younger than 18 and are available online, in person before the concert, or at Taos Mudd ‘N Flood, 103A Bent Lane in Taos.
