The Borremeo String Quartet, the Brentano String Quartet, and the Shanghai Quartet – all internationally-sought artists commanding the world’s top venues – are guest artists on the 2013 summer schedule at Taos School of Music.
In addition, renowned pianists Robert McDonald and Thomas Sauer, as well as violist Michael Tree, founding member of the Guarnari String Quartet, also will perform during the June 16 – Aug. 4 season.
Best of all, tickets to these superb concerts are affordable, at $20 per adult and $10 for children under 16, so the entire family can enjoy a memorable evening together. A season pass for five concerts is $80.
Young Artist concerts at the Taos Community Auditorium, 145 Paseo del Pueblo Norte, cost $8. This TSM 51st season will feature Young Artists’ performances of the complete Beethoven String Quartets. Hotel St. Bernard Young Artist concerts and faculty seminars are free.
