PEEC News:
The wildflowers are finally making their spring appearance.
Join PEEC’s Jemez Mountains Herbarium curator, Chick Keller, for an easy walk to identify some of the local beauties at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 16.
The walk will be along a local trail. Check PEEC’s website or call 662-0460 to learn the location of the trailhead.
No registration is required and the walk is free. A plant list will be available.
PEEC plans further wildflower walks June 20 and July 18, so mark the calendars now.
