Cyclists aged 18 and under are invited to attend the first Pajarito Trail Fest Youth Mountain Bike Race Saturday, Oct. 23.

The Pajarito Trail Fest Youth Mountain Bike Race is a 9-mile cross-country mountain biking competition presented by Southwest Nordic Ski Club, Los Alamos Youth Mountain Bike Team and Pajarito Mountain.

Los Alamos High School freshman Olivia Schmidt competed in a USA climbing competition Saturday Oct. 16 at Stone Age Climbing Gym in Albuquerque.

The Los Alamos High School Girls Soccer Team fell to Albuquerque Academy 4-2 in a well-played match Saturday at Sullivan Field.

The Los Alamos High School Topper girls soccer team kept a perfect district record as it beat Moriarty 4-0 in a home game Thursday at Sullivan Field.

Test your mettle and earn some awesome medals at the 1st annual “Pajarito Trail Fest” Youth Mountain Bike (MTB) Race Saturday, Oct. 23.

Registration closes at 9:45 a.m. Saturday and is free to all youth cyclist 18 and under. The cross-country style MTB race will start promptly at 10 a.m. from the lower parking lot at Pajarito mountain.
