Attorney General Hector Balderas Urges Congress To Support Funding Under Violence Against Women Act

ALBUQUERQUE – Attorney General Hector Balderas today joined 55 other state and territory attorneys general to urge Congress to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).

The attorneys general sent a letter earlier today to congressional leaders and the chairs of the Senate and House Judiciary Committees, urging lawmakers to vote to reauthorize VAWA before it expires this year.

FBI: Woman Pleads Guilty To Child Porn Production

ALBUQUERQUE Danielle Glotfelty, 32, of Albuquerque, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Federal Court to a production of child pornography charge.
 
Glotfelty entered the guilty plea under a plea agreement that recommends she be sentenced to an 18-year term of imprisonment followed by at least five years of supervised release. Glotfelty also will be required to register as a sex offender after she completes her prison sentence.
