Local Celebrities Needed for Dunking Event

TEEN CENTER News:

The Los Alamos Teen Center is hosting a School of Rock.

Musicians from the Teen Center are forming bands to perform 2-7 p.m., Aug. 11 at Central Park Square.

Local well-known people are needed to participate in a dunk tank activity – to date, Teen Center Director Michelangelo Lobato is the sole person to volunteer to be dipped in the tank.

During the Aug. 11 event, the Teen Center also will sell food, hold a bake sale and conduct a silent auction.

All proceeds from the School of Rock event go toward purchasing musical instruments for the Los Alamos Teen Center.
