Minimum Wage Bill Clears Judiciary Committee

STATE News:

SANTA FE – New Mexico House Democrats’ bill to improve the lives of working families by raising the state minimum wage cleared the House Judiciary Committee.

HB 442 proposes to raise the state’s minimum wage to $9.25 an hour, a $1.75 increase over the state’s current minimum wage of $7.50 per hour. The increase will put an extra $3,000 annually into the pockets of New Mexicans working full-time without burdening small businesses or rural municipalities.

FBI: Man Wearing Walmart Vest And Rag On His Head Robs Albuquerque Bank

FBI News:

A man wearing a blue Walmart vest and a rag on his head robbed a northeast Albuquerque bank Tuesday, Feb. 21.

The suspect was described as a black man in his mid-20s, approximately 5’10” tall, with a slender to medium build. He wore a blue Walmart vest over a white T-shirt, a black rag on his head, blue jeans and dark shoes.

In our world today there is much concern about recycling of materials that have been assembled with energy to create something for use by humanity.
