The Karen Wray Gallery is ready to usher in the Holidays by gathering the works of all their artists for the Annual Holiday Exhibition. Among the works featured is this cactus flower by Robert Murray. It’s a festive time of year and the show will reflect that. Santa’s Helper Emmitt Tibbitts and his mother violist Wendi Dressen prepare for the Los Alamos Symphony Orchestra Holiday Concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 in the Crossroads Bible Church. The concert will feature familiar Holiday music including part of Tschaikowsky’s Nutcracker, a sing along and a free raffle drawing for a chance to conduct the orchestra. Los Alamos Arts Council Executive Director Chris Montieth presents a $100 check Wednesday to Geoff Reeves, the first quarter winner of the Los Alamos Daily Post Photography Contest.
