The Los Alamos Police Department continues to work in partnership with Los Alamos Public Schools to investigate recent graffiti threats.
In cooperation with LAPS and members of the community, LAPD has identified at least one suspect we believe to be responsible. Police have increased their presence at school campuses within the County and continue to assign School Resource Officers to Los Alamos High School and Los Alamos Middle School.
LAPD is continuing to investigate these threats with the help of school resource officers and criminal investigators. LAPD takes these threats seriously and will work diligently to identify additional individuals responsible and take appropriate action.
LAPD encourages any member of the public to include school staff, students and parents to notify the Los Alamos Police Department if they have any information that would assist in this investigation.
