ALBUQUERQUE ― The public is invited to a free event April 28 to support the 2018 National Veterans Golden Age Games (NVGAG).
Doors open at 9 a.m., April 28 for the family-oriented, fundraising event that runs until 3 p.m. at the New Mexico Veterans’ Memorial, located at 1100 Louisiana Blvd. SE in Albuquerque.
There will be NVGAG registration booths for anyone wishing to sign up as volunteers or sponsors. Entertainment will include a car show, vendor booths, live music, dancing, food, clowns, face painting, balloons and much more. New Mexico Museum of Military History Vehicles will also be on display at this event, sponsored by the New Mexico Veterans’ Memorial.

The 2018 National Veterans Golden Age Games
Nearly 800 athletes are expected to compete in the National Veterans Golden Age Games Aug. 3-8 in Albuquerque. The New Mexico VA Health Care System, which provides care for more than 59,000 veterans throughout New Mexico and Southern Colorado, will host this year’s National Veterans Golden Age Games.
