LACDC, Chamber, MainStreet News:
While Los Alamos County and Los Alamos National Laboratory are officially in the “Set” status according to the “Ready, Set, Go” evacuation protocol, many of our local businesses remain open and need your support.
Businesses follow Los Alamos County instructions, but until an evacuation is called, they make their own decisions about business hours based on the safety of their employees and community demand. It is during difficult times like these that the small business community needs your support more than ever!
LACDC, the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce, and Los Alamos MainStreet will continue to share important Cerro Pelado Fire resources with the small business community and promote the local businesses that are staying open during this time. Please be sure to follow the Chamber and MainStreet pages on Facebook for some of the latest information on what businesses are still open.
A reminder for all business owners and other community members, there is a Cerro Pelado Community Briefing at 5:30 p.m. today, May 9, in Griffith Gymnasium at Los Alamos High School and via Zoom.
