Superintendent Shares Teacher And Staff Appreciation

Activities and events to honor Los Alamos Public Schools teachers and staff took place throughout the week and across the district.

New LAPS Superintendent Kurt Steinhaus sent a note to the teachers and staff Friday thanking them for providing him with such a warm welcome to the Los Alamos Public Schools.

Steinhaus added, “I have enjoyed participating in and watching the teacher and staff appreciation activities this week. As the week comes to a close, I want to add a reminder that every day at LAPS is teacher and staff appreciation day. Thank you for your hard work and dedication on behalf of our wonderful students. I am confident that every member of our School Board also appreciates you. As William Arthur Ward said, ‘Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it’.“
