Supercuts is a hair salon franchise headquartered in Minneapolis, Minn., with more than 2,000 locations across the United States. The company was founded in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1975, by Geoffrey M. Rappaport and Frank E. Emmett. The company’s first location is still in existence in Albany, Calif.

Supercuts is two doors down from the Verizon store and an electrician on scene this morning said a bicycle repair shop is opening in the vacant space between the two businesses. He also said a dentist is moving into the space at the far end nearest to Knecht Street.
