“Love coffee? Looking for last minute meaningful gifts? Stop by LANB for a free cup of coffee as you finish your holiday errands this afternoon and support amazing Los Alamos students and educational travel.

Europe 2017 Holiday Craft and Coffee Sale is in the lobby of LANB 1-5 p.m. today at 1200 Trinity Dr.

Coffee is $13 for a 10 oz. bag, whole bean or ground, in French Roast, Dark Roast, Medium Roast and Decaf. Coffee is a perfect gift for the holidays, a great way to support local youth on educational travel, and a wonderful endorsement of international Fair Trade practices.

The 12 high school seniors touring Europe with local teacher, Lynn Ovaska, next summer used their artistic talent to make beautiful holidays crafts and cookies.

As with past tours, the goal of Europe 2017 is to expand the world view of Los Alamos’ young adults and help them develop skills for our global economy before they head off to college. This year’s tour is of Switzerland, Italy and France. Funds raised from the Craft and Coffee Sale help cover some of the tour costs for seeing the Swiss Alps, Venice, Florence, French Riviera, as well as the most famous historical sites of the Roman Colosseum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. http://www.eftours.com/tour-website/1826290EM

This amazing group of travelers appreciates the outpouring of support of their educational travel. They have already sold almost 250 bags of coffee, which raised more than $1,500 to help the group defer some of the costs.

Stop by LANB this afternoon to purchase beautiful holiday crafts as well as tasty Free Trade, organic coffee. If you cannot make it to the Craft and Coffee Sale but would like to purchase coffee, contact Lynn Ovaska at lynnovaska@gmail.com

Or feel free to make a direct donation to group. Checks can be made payable to Europe 2017 and sent to LANB.
