Local sixth grader Alex Martinez will be taking a class trip at the end of the school year to the Kennedy Space Center in Orlando, Fla. She is raising funds to help her get there.
“When Alex asked if she could go, I right away started thinking of fundraisers that I could do to help her get there,” Alex’s mom, Ana Martinez said. “I started to brain storm with a friend of mine, Sandra Quintana, and we came up the idea of baked goods for the holidays.”
Ana will be taking orders for the following goodies now through Jan 5. Call or text her at 505-927-0245.
- Bizcochito Cookies: $4/doz.
- Tortillas-White Flour: $5/doz.
- Tortillas-Wheat Flour: $5/doz.
- Chocolate Fudge with Walnuts: $5/½ lb
- Chocolate Fudge without Nuts: $5/½ lb
- Pumpkin Rolls: $15/ea.
“My mom will also have a table at the Holiday Arts and Craft Fair on Nov. 2 at Fuller Lodge with plenty of samples and goodies to go, and will also be taking orders for the upcoming holidays,” Alex said.
