Strother Has Perfect Prediction In Weekly Pace Race

William Strother, 9, had a perfect prediction in the Atomic City Road Runners weekly pace race on the new section of the Canyon Rim Trail.
 
Other accurate predictors were: Uvaldo Hinojosa with a 8 second differential, Sanna Sevanto and Lyle Cunningham with a 10 second tie, Aurea Rojas at 12 seconds off and Ted Romero with a 13 second difference.
 
Zeke Wilmot was the top finisher in the 1 mile race at 7:28 and Roxana Candia was the first female recording a 8:19.
 
in the 3 mile distance Ryan Smeltzer had a 20:18 for best finisher and Nikol Strother was the top female at 21:49.
 
Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 3 on the pollution control plant service road at the bottom of Main Hill Road (NM 502) turning left just before the NM 4 west junction to White Rock. 1 and 3 mile courses will be available.
