Storytelling Jamboree in Jemez Springs

STORYTELLING JAMBOREE News:

Scenic Jemez Springs is the scene for the Storytelling Jamboree at Jemez Springs Civic Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15. Hear stories, play games, eat, and support vendors.

Storytellers are fine-tuning their yarns and will be coming from:

Corrales – Liz Mangual and Bob Kanegis;

Albuquerque – Elaine Maury and Steven Pla;

Santa Fe – Cynthia Dobson;

White Rock/Los Alamos – Terry Foxx;

Jemez Springs – Shefa Gold; and

Edgewood – Sarah Malone.

There will be a great mix of food vendors and a super group of arts and crafts people and several information booths.

Everyone is invited to a potluck dinner from 6-9 p.m. Friday night, Sept.14 at the Jemez Springs Community Presbyterian Church.

Meet some of the tellers and tell your stories/tall tales. Oodles of food, plus prizes for the most popular stories told that night.

For more information, call Dick Nelson at (575) 829-3583.
