NCRTD Buses To Operate At 50 Percent Capacity
NCRTD News:
Upon guidance from New Mexico Department of Health and the Department of Transportation Transit and Rail Division, RTD Blue Buses will now operate at 50 percent capacity effective immediately.
Social distancing is still encouraged when possible and masks are required as per Federal Law. Federal law also requires passengers and drivers (with limited exceptions) to wear a properly fitting mask at all times.

New Mexico Lottery Scholarship Covers Full Tuition 2021-22

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Higher Education Department (NMHED) has announced that the New Mexico Lottery Scholarship will cover the full amount of tuition for eligible students at all public and Tribal colleges and universities for the 2021-2022 school year.
The Lujan Grisham administration has restored the promise of the Lottery Scholarship; supported by increased revenue from lottery ticket sales and a significant budget appropriation, this marks the first that the Lottery Scholarship has covered 100 percent of tuition for all eligible students since 2015.

Spring in New Mexico is an exciting time for wildlife. This is the time of year when most babies are born. The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish (NMGF) reminds the public to leave alone any deer or antelope fawns, elk calves, bear cubs or other wild animals they may find.
Most young-of-the-year wildlife that people discover are simply hiding while awaiting their parents’ return from foraging nearby.

New Mexico COVID-19 Update: 161 New Cases, Total 203,472 With 7 New Deaths And 190,279 Recovered
SANTA FE – New Mexico Department of Health officials announced today 161 new COVID-19 cases.
Los Alamos County reports 1 new case today bringing the total to 532 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)
This update includes 7 new deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19.
The New Mexico Department of Health reports the most recent cases:
- 43 new cases in Bernalillo County
- 6 new cases in Chaves County
- 1 new case in Colfax County
