ALBUQUERQUE — The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) is in the process of updating the Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System (www.jobs.state.nm.us) to be fully available in Spanish.
Claimants who indicate Spanish as their preferred language will start to see system features, including filing an initial claim, available in Spanish starting Sept. 30.

New Mexico COVID-19 Update: 159 New Cases, Total Now At 28,844 With Zero New Deaths And 16,301 Patients Recovered

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials have announced this afternoon 159 additional positive tests for COVID-19.
Los Alamos County remains at 33 cases that have tested positive for COVID-19.
Today’s update includes zero new deaths related to COVID-19.
The New Mexico Department of Health reported today the most recent cases:
- 32 new cases in Bernalillo County
- 11 new cases in Chaves County
- 1 new case in Cibola County
- 6 new cases in Colfax County
- 3 new cases in Curry County
- 20 new cases in Doña Ana County
- 29 new cases in Eddy County
- 17 new cases in Lea County
- 1 new cases in Lincoln County
