Concerned Citizens For Nuclear Safety News:After nearly 600 luminarias were lit on the Tularosa Little League field, U.S. Rep. Ben Ray Luján expressed his apologies to those who are suffering from or have died of illnesses caused by exposure to the first atomic bomb test July 16, 1945, at the Trinity Site.

NMDOT News:SANTA FE ― The public is invited to comment on the New Mexico Department of Transportation’s new 2018 – 2023 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).
The program will serve as a four year plan for the state’s federal aid highway program and will be implemented Oct. 1.
The STIP contains proposed road and bridge projects and is required under the federal legislation. Projects on the list are on federal and state highways (roads with I, U.S. or NM designations).
