ALBUQUERQUE — Paul DiPaola and Phil Bryson will be recognized for their outstanding leadership and dedication to the state of New Mexico at the 2018 Leadership New Mexico Annual Awards Dinner Friday, May 4 in Albuquerque.
DiPaola is the recipient of this year’s Distinguished Alumnus Award. He is the New Mexico Regional President of U.S. Bank as well as a Leadership New Mexico Core Program graduate, class of 2000, and Lifetime Member. DiPaola has more than 35 years of banking experience and, under his leadership, U.S. Bank has returned to a top position in the New Mexico market. He is a current Board Member and past Chairman of the New Mexico Bankers Association and also serves on the Albuquerque Community Foundation’s Board of Trustees, and the State of New Mexico’s Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP) board, where he has been involved since 2006. Previously, DiPaola has served as Chairman of Leadership New Mexico’s Board of Directors, President of the University of New Mexico Lobo Club, and Chair of the Rio Rancho Economic Development Corporation. DiPaola also is a member of the New Mexico Amigos.
On the Edge Productions Owner Phil Bryson
Bryson is the recipient of this year’s Distinguished Leadership Award. Bryson is a world-renowned organizational trainer and owner of the preeminent corporate training and team building organization, On the Edge Productions. Bryson has been involved in corporate training since 1979 and has worked extensively with high caliber individuals and teams ranging from the executives of Fortune 100 companies to professional sports teams and elite military Special Forces groups. Bryson is actively involved in a variety of entrepreneurial and community activities in southwestern Colorado and northern New Mexico; he is the real estate developer at Crossroads Durango, founder of Brainstorm Internet, and an eight-year founding Board Member of the Durango Fire & Rescue District. He has been involved in the founding of multiple community leadership programs in the area, including Leadership Los Alamos and Leadership La Plata.
