St. Baldrick’s Head-Shaving Event Moving Forward At Bathtub Row Brewing Co-Op July 18

COMMUNITY News:

Organizers of this year’s St. Baldrick’s fundraiser want the community to know that while the larger event planned at 9999 Nectar St. has been canceled, the heart of the day is still very much on!

The St. Baldrick’s head-shaving event, Brave Hearts of Los Alamos, will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 18 at Bathtub Row Brewing Co-Op at 163 Central Park Square.

After struggling with some event logistics late in the planning process, organizers made the decision to scale back and focus their energy and resources on what matters most: raising money for childhood cancer research through the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

The community is encouraged to come out, support participants who are shaving their heads, and help make the day a success.

The event will also feature support from local partners. Bathtub Row Brewing Co-Op will offer day-of discounts for donors, and Secret City Cornhole will host a tournament that is open to the public, giving even more people a reason to stop by and be part of the day. Players and spectators can find tournament details and registration information here: Secret City Cornhole Tournament Registration.

Organizers hope the community will continue to donate, cheer on the shavees from Dems of Los Alamos, Exit Realty Advantage NM, and Team Barna, and join them at Bathtub Row Brewing for a great day supporting a great cause.

Every dollar raised helps fund critical childhood cancer research through St. Baldrick’s.
