Los Alamos High Flyers Gymnasts Compete at State Championships

Seventeen Los Alamos High Flyers gymnasts competed in the Level 2 & 3 New Mexico State Championships last weekend in Albuquerque. The girls competed by age division in vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise, and in the all-around (combined score).

A.J. Herrera New Head Coach of Topper Girls Soccer

The Los Alamos High School Athletic Department has announced that A.J. Herrera of White Rock has accepted the Head Girls Soccer coach position at the high school. 

Herrera was recently the head coach of the boys program at Santa Fe High School. He had been there since 2007. Coach Herrera was the Los Alamos Boys soccer coach in the 2006 season where the team went 16-6 and was a state semi-final team and he was an assistant coach at Los Alamos in 2004 and 2005. He has his National ā€œDā€ soccer license and his National Youth License.

Register For Run For Her Life 5k and 10K Races

The 4th annual Run For Her Life 5k and 10K Races start at 9 a.m. Sunday, March 30 at East Park on East Road (N.M. 502).
