Los Alamos High School Boys/Girls Soccer All District and All State Team Honors Announced

Los Alamos High School Athletic/Activities Director Ann Stewart has announced the Boys/Girls Soccer All District and All State Team Honors.
“Congratulations to all of this year’s All District and All State Teams!” Stewart said.
LAHS athletes and coaches who have earned All-District Honors for District 2-5A
- 1st Team – Seth Hailey, Ralph Archbold, Alex Csanadi, George Steinkamp, Eric Burnside, Levon Wiggins
- 2nd Team – Tristen Semelsberger, Tristen Roach, DC Kim
- Honorable Mention – Andreas Runde
- Player of the Year – Ralph Archbold

Los Alamos Native Alex Kirk Featured In Italy’s SportsWeek Magazine

Los Alamos native Alex Kirk is featured in the latest edition of Italy’s SportWeek magazine.
The Los Alamos High School graduate and former UNM Lobo has been a court standout and crowd favorite since joining the Giorgio Tesi Group Pistoia in Pistoia, Italy in September. He was named the MVP in the season opening game.
Giorgio Tesi Group Pistoia is a professional basketball team in Italy’s top league and Kirk said at the time of joining the team that he believes his shot to play in the NBA is only going to get better following this experience.

The Los Alamos Mountaineers meeting will begin promptly at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov.18, a little earlier than usual, at Fuller Lodge.
The group needs to handle its election and regular announcements/business meeting before a special program by a world class outdoorsman. The Los Alamos MIddle School Hawks Wrestling Team took 1st place at the Pecos tournament over the weekend.
The Hawks team had seven wrestlers take first place, and one third place.
The first place wrestlers were: Izzy Maestas, Antonio Vigil, Devin Atencio, Damian Gonzales, Elijah Martinez, JD Carson and Zach Moquino. Third place winner was Xavier Massara.
