Luke Gibson Best Predictor In Pace Race May 18

ACRR News:

Luke Gibson, 9, had a perfect prediction in the weekly pace race Tuesday with a 6:30 time on the trail by the Rodeo Arena on North Mesa.

Other accurate predictors are:

  • Nikol Strother indicating a 1 second difference as well as being the first female finisher in the 3 mile distance recording a 23:59;
  • Aurea Rojas with a 3 second differential;
  • Anna Teterovskay at 9 seconds off; and
  • Lindsay Gibson at 18 seconds off her predicted time.

In the 1 mile race, 10-year-old Levi Gibson was the top finisher at 6:28 with 13-year-old Savanna Strother right behind at 6:29 for the first female finisher.

The Los Alamos High School Hilltopper Varsity Girls Softball Team hosted the Moriarty Pintos Saturday at Overlook for a double header.

The Toppers made quick work of the Pintos, winning both games, 17-0 and 16-1.

The next game for the Toppers is at home, 4 p.m. Wednesday against the Española Sundevils.
