The Los Alamos School Board will hold a Special School Board Meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12 at Los Alamos Middle School, Room 149.
The agenda items are: approval of agenda, presentations, recommendations and information for the Board including a Los Alamos Middle School (LAMS) construction update and LAMS Modification Change Requests.
There will be a motion to go into a closed Executive Session for a meeting with the School District’s attorney pertaining to pending or threatened litigation in which the School District is or may become a participant, according to NMSA 1978, Section 10-15-1(H)(7) in the LAMS Library Conference Room.
After the closed Executive Session is over, Board President Jim Hall will reconvene the Special School Board Meeting. In reference to the closed Executive Session, Hall will make a statement that the purpose for the closed Executive Session was limited the discussion stated on the agenda and no action was taken.
Following the closed Executive Session, the Special School Board Meeting will re-convene with agenda topics including the extension of the Cooperative Educational Services contract for Los Alamos Public Schools Owners Representative David Wharram, an Aspen construction update and Aspen Modification Change Requests.
