As Diane Swan was closing the Los Alamos American Legion for the night Monday, she discovered this foot-long snake. ‘CJ’ Chris Carmen, the ‘go to’ snake guy in Los Alamos, just happened to be at the Legion participating in a pool tournament. He ‘wrangled’ the year-old snake into a pickle jar for relocation to a more suitable habitat, saying recent rain is likely the cause for the snake’s encroachment into human dwellings. Snake Slithers Into American Legion
