Worried about your dog and rattlesnakes?

JJ Belcher of Sublime Canine, Tucson, Ariz., is conducting  Snake Aversion training the weekend of Aug. 8-9 in Los Alamos.

Susan Ramsay of Los Alamos said she has brought Belcher out the last two years for snake avoidance training in addition to training with him regularly for obedience and tracking and said she can vouch for his methods, ethics and abilities.

He uses an electronic collar in the aversion training and trains for sight, scent and sound. The group training takes about 1.5 hours. Personal in home training sessions may be available depending on scheduling. The group training costs $90 per dog. If anyone is interested in a private session I can see if it can be scheduled and would have to inquire as to the details. Cash or check only.

To participate, provide your name, cell #, and dogs’ name(s) and if they have participated in this activity with Belcher previously.  Also, if you have a day preference let me know and I will try to accommodate you.

To schedule or for more information, contact Susan Ramsay at davsusramsay@gmail.com.
