BUSINESS News:

Come to Mrs. Beadsley Vintage Jewelry at 2101 Trinity Dr., Suite G to shop from thousands of pieces of jewelry in addition to hats, gloves, clothes, purses, books, ephemera, figurines, vanity items, and so much more.

The store specializes in vintage art glass necklaces. You will also find a good selection of Victorian pieces, 1930s Czechoslovakian necklaces, rhinestone and enamel brooches, Native American and Mexican jewelry. In addition, there is jewelry made of coral, various stones, amber, mother of pearl, jade, carved wood, pearls, ivory and other materials.

Mrs. Beadsley also buys, trades and repairs jewelry, including re-stringing, rhinestone replacement, custom work and bridal jewelry.

“I’m always happy to see any items you wish to sell, owner Debra Lowenstein said. “I can generally make informal appraisals, depending on the type of jewelry. I buy outright and do not do consignment.”

Signed jewelry from all the big names are stocked. These include Weiss, Kramer, Haskell, Eisenberg, Hattie Carnegie, Trifari, Kenneth Lane and many more. Unsigned jewelry from the 1800s to the 1980s also is stocked. The store is known for quality jewelry in excellent condition.

“I also believe in standing behind the things I sell,” Lowenstein said. “I always do my best to repair jewelry that has become damaged after it leaves the shop.”

Prices range from inexpensive to high-end designer and fine antique pieces. Come and be overwhelmed at Mrs. Beadsley.

“There is so much to look at so please allow yourself the time to peruse my vast inventory,” she said.
