Facilitating and supporting creativity in the visual arts since 1977, the Fuller Lodge Art Center’s Affordable Arts Sale is a long-standing tradition in Los Alamos.
Year round the Art Center gallery hosts an average of 100 local and regional artisans. Every November the gallery shop expands to add 30 to 40 artists and take over the entire gallery space. Yearly the Art Center hosts nine exhibits, ranging from juried to curated and solo shows. The Art Center also hosts two highly anticipated Arts and Crafts shows yearly, as well as more than 100 classes for children from Pre-K, through teens and nore than 60 classes for adults year round.
The Art Center is a nexus for locals, tourists, professional and beginning artists, and has the privilege to host several art interest groups including the Art Club, Adobe Users Group, Los Alamos Life Drawing Group, Photography Club and Wednesday Watercolorists.
Working hand in hand with an immensely creative community and region is a passion for the Art Center workforce, and by giving back to the community through numerous programs including scholarships opportunities, school visits, art field trips and an art material and art book lending library, the Art Center is truly woven into the fabric of the community.
Fuller Lodge Art Center at 2132 Central Ave., is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday. For information, call 505.662.1635.
