Six Council Candidates Qualify For General Election Ballot

Thursday was filing day for minor party and independent candidates for the Nov. 3, 2020 General Election.

The Los Alamos County Clerk’s Office reports that just one candidate filed Thursday, Aaron Walker, who is running as an Independent for County Council.

This brings the field to six candidates running for three vacant seats on council including three Democrats, one Republican, one Libertarian and one Independent, who qualify for placement on the General Election ballot:
