SIPAPU News:
VADITO — Sipapu has launched its 2022/2023 season pass sale, along with its sister Power Pass mountains throughout the Southwest including Pajarito.
The Power Pass collective of resorts features some of the most affordable, family-friendly ski resorts in the U.S., this year’s lineup of passes includes a new pass product, FREE skiing and mountain bike uplifts for kids ages 12 and younger and zero price increases (not to mention a few decreases, too).
“Our entire family of season passes delivers unmatched value for those who love to ski and play in the Southwest,” managing partner James Coleman said. “Our purpose is to Give People the Freedom to Ski, and there’s no better way to do that than through the Power Pass.”
The Power Pass provides unlimited access to the largest collection of ski areas in the southwest, including 4,000 acres spanning Colorado (Purgatory Resort and Hesperus Ski Area), Arizona (Arizona Snowbowl), Utah (Brian Head Resort and Nordic Valley Ski Area), New Mexico (Sipapu Ski & Summer Resort and Pajarito Mountain) and Texas (Spider Mountain Bike Park).
Prices:
- Power Pass launches at $699 for adults ages 37-64 and as low as $349 for teens ages 13-18;
- Power Pass Select is $599 for adults ages 37-64 and as low as $199 for teens ages 13-18;
- Power Pass Core (formerly known as the Power Pass Local) is $299 for adults ages 37-64 and as low as $149 for teens ages 13-18.
Now through May 20, guests can receive the guaranteed lowest price of the season while taking advantage of the following upgrades over last year:
Introducing the Power Pass Core (formerly Power Pass Local) — This low-commitment, low-cost season pass offers 4 days of restricted skiing at Purgatory, Snowbowl, Brian Head and Spider Mountain at $299 for adults ages 37-64. Additional benefits include restricted access to Nordic Valley and unlimited skiing at Sipapu, Pajarito and Hesperus.
Power Kids Ski and Bike FREE — Last winter, the free Power Kids ski pass debuted for rippers ages 12 and younger. Following the tremendous success of this initiative, Power Kids will not only enjoy free skiing for the 2022/2023 winter season, but they’ll also have unlimited mountain bike uplifts at the collective’s four bike parks, too. Power Kids is the only pass in North America that grants unlimited free access for kids ages 12 and under, no purchase required, blackout dates or strings attached.
No Price Increases and Some Decreases —Season pass prices have stayed the same over the 2022/2023 winter season, and the Power Pass Core now offers discounted pricing to young adults ages 25-29 (in addition to discounts on ages 30-36, 19-24 and 13-18). Brian Head, Sipapu & Pajarito are also introducing new discounts to young adults ages 19-24, 25-29 and 30-36.
FREE Mountain Bike Uplifts with Purchase — With the purchase of a Power Pass, 12 Day Power Pass or Power Pass Select by May 20, 2022, guests will also receive 3 days at each of the Power Pass bike parks: Purgatory, Brian Head and Pajarito. These products also include unlimited uplifts at the nation’s only year-round, lift-served bike park, Spider Mountain, through April 30, 2023.
Less Waste, Less Hassle for Renewals — 2021/2022 season passholders who renew their pass can reuse the card they wore on zippers, lanyards and even helmets for the 2022/2023 season.
Trusted pass features, including the no-interest payment plan; season pass discounts on lift tickets (25% off the online rate), food and beverage, ski school, retail and rentals (all 10 percent off); and the popular “buy now, ski now” benefit, which allows new passholders to begin using their 2022/2023 season pass this spring, will continue to be offered.
