Tickets are still available for an afghan Shari Mills made and is raffling to raise money for a scholarship fund in memory of Carson Cannon.
Carson is Reed and Heidi Cannon’s 16-year-old son who died suddenly last December. He would have graduated May 2021 from Los Alamos High School.
Tickets are available at High Mesa Dental Arts offices, Los Alamos 555 Oppenheimer Suite 202 and White Rock behind Smiths, 106 A Longview Dr. and from Mills.
Contact Mills at firstname.lastname@example.org and she can arrange to get a ticket to you. Tickets are $10 for one and $20 for three. She is hoping to raise at least $1,000. for the scholarship. The drawing is Aug. 15, 2020.
The Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation will help Mills find a student deserving of the scholarship through their work within the parameters of the Carson Cannon Memorial Scholarship.
