The Upstart Crows announce their final weekend performances of Cymbeline, a Blackfriar Project, are 6 p.m. Saturday, May 14 and 3 p.m. Sunday, May 15 at UUC Santa Fe, 107 W Barcelona Road.
Tickets are $15 at the door and online here
Upstart Crows graduating senior, Clara West makes her directorial debut with Cymbeline. Cymbeline is one of Shakespeare’s late plays full of darkness, deception, pursuit and seduction. Performed with a cast of Crows veterans.
About the Upstart Crows of Santa Fe
Upstart Crows of Santa Fe are a Shakespeare troupe for young people 10-18. They produce workshops and uncut plays with a focus on understanding and collaboration. Casts create productions from deep explorations of Shakespeare’s language and meaning. Blackfriar projects are for graduating seniors who are veteran players and assistant directors.Â
