SANTA FE –– Santa Fe Community College’s Visual Arts Gallery presents an exhibition by students of the Arts & Design program at Santa Fe Community College.
The exhibition opens with a reception from 4:30-6 p.m., Thursday, May 5. Selections from coursework in Architectural Design, Book Arts, Ceramics, Drawing, Fashion Design, Fine Woodworking, Glass, Jewelry, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Santero Carving and Sculpture are featured. More than 120 pieces of student work are on display in the Visual Arts Gallery.
Awards for the Arts and Design student show are generously provided by Artisan’s-Santa Fe, Takach Press Corporation, New Mexico Clay, Santa Fe Jewelers Supply, Seams Unusual and others.
The SFCC School of Arts, Design, and Media Arts offers comprehensive coursework in fine arts design, media arts, dance, drama and performance. Associate degrees in Architecture, Fine Arts, Gallery Management, Media Arts, Photography and Professional Crafts are offered. Professional certificates are available in Architectural Design, Fashion Design, Fine Woodworking, Gallery Management, Interior Design, Jewelry, Media Arts and Photography.
