SFCC Offers ESL Classes At Several Locations

Orientation sessions begin July 25; required for registration

Santa Fe Community College will offer 15-week English as a Second Language courses beginning Aug. 22 to any adult who wants to learn English. New students must attend an orientation session prior to registration. The orientation session will include testing and placement as well as registration for the courses. The registration fee of $25 can be applied to more than one course and includes books, CDs and all other class materials.

The classes will be held at Santa Fe Community College, Ortiz Middle School and El Camino Real Academy in Santa Fe. Morning and evening classes will be available at SFCC; evening classes are offered at Ortiz Middle School and at El Camino Real Academy. Students may attend any one of the 3-hour orientation sessions. Please arrive early.

Orientation and Registration sessions:

  • Santa Fe Community College, Room 503B, 6401 Richards Ave.:  10 a.m.-1 p.m. or 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Mon., July 25, Wed., July 27, Tues., Aug. 2, Thurs., Aug. 4, Tues., Aug. 9 or Fri., Aug. 12.
  • El Camino Real Academy, 2500 S. Meadows Road: 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Mon., Aug. 15.
  • Ortiz Middle School, 4164 S. Meadows Road: 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Tues., Aug. 16.
