SANTA FE ― Santa Fe Community College and the Santa Fe Higher Education Center will close for Winter Break from Sunday, Dec. 16 through Tuesday, Jan. 1.
No classes or activities will be held and no other student services will be available during this time. Snow removal and grounds maintenance will not be operational during this time. The college’s early childhood development center, Kids Campus, and the William C. Witter Fitness Education Center also will be closed.
The SFCC main campus (6401 Richards Ave.) and the Santa Fe Higher Education Center (1950 Siringo Road) will reopen Wednesday, Jan. 2.
Additionally, the college’s William C. Witter Fitness Education Center recreation facilities are undergoing major renovations beginning in December. The gymnasium is closed for floor repairs and refinishing, and is scheduled to reopen Wednesday, Feb. 6. The entire facility is scheduled to be closed Saturday, Dec. 8 through Sunday, Jan. 13.
