Saturday afternoon Los Alamos Western Area residents experienced a short blackout due to a severed power line at the corner of 46th Street and Sandia Drive.
The power went out at approximately 3:15 p.m., and was restored by 4:15 p.m.
One young resident who lives across the street from the power pole reported seeing the line break. He said he thought it was awesome.
