Defense Secretary Ash Carter

Secretary of Defense the Honorable Ash Carter is visiting Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico Sept. 27-28 to discuss the nuclear enterprise and thank personnel for their work to ensure the readiness of the nuclear force.
During his visit to New Mexico, Carter also will tour facilities at Los Alamos National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories to thank scientists and engineers at these facilities for their ongoing work involving the development, assessment and security of the nuclear triad.
